A Belated Celebration of Nov. 9
1
November 11th, 2009EditorialTwo awesome things about Nov. 9:
1) November 9 was the “Day of German Destiny“. World-changing things tend to take place in Germany on Nov. 9. This year happened to be the 20th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. I’m sure you heard about it. If not…you need to read more.
It was only today that I got around to eating my celebratory Wursts (from Whole Foods, a little salty, but generally tolerable). Two days late, but the timing was nice: what better way to memorialize Veteran’s Day in the US than by celebrating a peaceful revolution?
2) Gigi’s birthday was Monday! Not a holiday documented by most newspapers, but a big fucking deal nonetheless. (Pssst…she got a Droid on Friday…beg her to write a review.)

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Unfortunately, my Droid has been taking over my life since I got it. I should be back to normal soon…
